Going through the lessons shared during the Pre-Cana course has allowed Collin and I to learn more about each other than ever before. It has given us new topics of conversation to discuss that we may not have talked about otherwise. I believe it was beneficial to do before marriage because it opened our eyes to topics we didn’t realize should be discussed beforehand. Now that the course is over, our ideas align more than ever. We learned about each other, about getting through conflicts, and about our relationship with God during the exercises. I hope to use the lessons learned in the future as we go through life together – Hannah
Overall, I had a pleasant experience with the course. I thought the conversations were new to our relationship and good topics to cover before our marriage (some we hadn’t even thought about before!). I thought the course layout made the conversations more intimate and personal. I liked the opportunity to work on the conversations at your own pace, then sit down together to talk about them. We made many of these conversations into date nights, and I would encourage couples to do the same! Making a night out of our conversations allowed us to take it more seriously and make the moments memorable. I would definitely recommend the course to those about to be married! – Collin
