This was an excellent course! Being a non catholic, I feel really privileged and blessed to have this excellent tool before we get married to have explored what the sacrament of marriage is really about and what it entails. I love that it has provided us with such great tools for us to improve our communication and set us up for so much success. Doing this course really allowed us to be closer to one another and get to know each other in a different depth. It has opened so many layers of beautiful conversations and allowed us to be more intentional with one another and look forward to so many wonderful things that come from the gift of marriage and starting our lives as one.
It has also taught me the importance of being mindful of my partner’s individual needs and taught me more in depth what his mindset is like and where he is coming from. I loved doing the guided conversation about children, issues, doing my part, money, and family as it opened up so many great conversations with each other about what our goals are and how we can show up for one another by supporting our families, financial goals and how we decide to raise our kids together. Doing this course affirmed even more how perfect my partner is for me and how lucky I am to have picked a partner who aligns with my values, beliefs, aspirations and faith in my life! – Samdisha
This was such a wonderful way of being intentional about our marriage and talking about many topics in depth in which we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to do even years down the line. Going through this course prepares us to act as a team for all that comes with marriage and working through life together as a couple. What was so enjoyable was hearing each others responses to each guided conversation and it taught us so much about one another that we did not consider or even think about.
This course has taught us a lot about one another and prepare us for all that comes with the Sacrament of Marriage to be able to go through life being each others biggest advocate supporter and be servants to one another. It has set us up with so much success with the rules of resolving conflicts. It also provided us with the tools for the future such as the anniversary and conversation dates worksheet for us to be able to have great communication and strengthen our bond continuously. I would recommend this course to every couple as it really teaches you all that marriage entails. It provides us with tools to guide us and allow us to improve our communication as that really is the foundation of an incredible marriage which we pray to have. – Javier
