Participating in the Pre-Cana online course was a meaningful experience. The course prompted us to engage in open discussions on important topics such as finances, family planning, and our roles within our relationship, which I believe helped us to come to a deeper mutual understanding in these areas. We particularly valued the session on resolving issues and feel that the tools provided will be helpful for our future. The emphasis on maintaining open dialogue throughout the course was also beneficial. It was incredibly helpful that the course was flexible and accessible with our busy schedules. For other couples preparing for marriage, I would recommend that they fully engage with the course topics and discussions. Dear Rev. Dr. Frank Nelson, thank you for providing such a comprehensive and flexible option for Pre-Cana. With working different shift schedules this allowed us to find time at our own pace to complete the course. Both of us enjoyed the experience and are thankful to have found time to spend with each other to reflect on our love and relationship. I found this time very relaxing and a great change of pace to the constantly busy schedule we’ve had since beginning wedding planning. Many smiles, hugs and even laughs were had during our time completing the course. It can be tough to find time to properly communicate issues in relationships, but I now believe this course has given us the tools to do so.
