From beginning to end, the course gave us a clearer understanding of our relationship, how we think, where we stand spiritually, and how we approach family, religion, and even money. We came to see that marriage is not a joke; it is a sacred commitment to support one another and be each other’s complement. I represent James, and James represents me. Taking this course now was important, because it confirmed for me how sure I am that I want to marry James and how deeply I know the kind of person he is. Overall my experience was very positive. It was both helpful and enjoyable. The reputation of the course made us respect the order and the questions and answered them with vulnerability and honesty and so did Nancy. In the majority of cases our answers were similar and made us feel even more like a team because they showed us how aligned we are in our vision. I already was coming into this class with a strong respect for the Sacrament of Marriage but the topics and the depth of the questions constantly reminded us that we are going to be a team and our life is going to be a commitment to God and we are to be agents producing fruit and working for His kingdom.
