This experience was really great, I truly enjoyed it and I believe Andrew did as well. We truly put our phones and other distractions away, and really took our time with this. We spent time discussing each question in detail and I loved hearing what Andrew had to say to certain questions. This was such an important part leading up to our wedding day, and I feel so thankful to be able to experience this, and hear Andrew’s thoughts and feelings out loud. I liked how certain questions really made us think more, and we had some great discussions about it. This was really helpful in preparing us for our marriage in church
Getting married in a church was always something we wanted to do, but now we both feel closer to God, and prayer, and know that faith will carry us through in our married lives and our future together. I have a few friends who are getting married in a church in 2026, and I would 10/10 recommend this course to them. They are people who would get a lot of learnings from this, similar to Andrew and I. Rev. Frank, your course was impactful, and we learned so much. We enjoyed all of the conversations, and really had some awesome communication. The pre-cana was very helpful. This helped Laurel and I talk about topics we would have never neutrally discussed until they were right in front of us. We truly enjoyed the course and guided conversations. We found so much value in it just talking through our answers listening to each other. The course did a great job of describing what the Sacrament of Marriage is all about, not the party, decorations, guest list, but truly why we are getting married and what it means in the eyes of God.
I would highly recommend married couples take the course for those who did not get married in a church. They are missing out on the deeper conversation and what it really means to be married.
