Pre-Cana was such a fun bonding experience for Dalton and I and helped us prepare for the sacrament of marriage. This course forced us to dedicate spending together and discussing important and sometimes difficult topics that were and are important to discuss before entering a marriage. It was a great reinforcement throughout the course that we have very similar values, upbringings, and future goals around family and faith! I would tell future couples to enjoy this time and dedicate specific date night days to go through the course. Spread the course across multiple weeks to ensure it doesn’t become daunting or feel like a choir but rather a fun activity for you both to do together. – Claire
I really enjoyed the course because it allowed me to be sure of a lot of things and learn a lot of new things about Claire. I think discussing all of these very important topics was a big step towards our wedding day. I believe these are all crucial topics that we will face in our life and it was great learning about how we can work through them together. Knowing our faith will bring us together and keep us connected throughout our life is something very important to me. That is what I learned from this experience and I and excited to bring those learnings into our marriage.
