When we were about to begin your online Pre-Cana course, my fiancé , who is almost 70 years old and having children and grandchildren already, was very reluctant and dare I say was being stubborn about going through this process, especially after seeing how comprehensive it was. He finally came around and we began to work on the exercises together. As we began to take the process more seriously and work through the exercises together as best we could as an older couple, we both found it was a very valuable experience, and I have to say very therapeutic.
As our schedules got busy, we would have to put off moving forward in the chapters for a period of time. As I would get back to completing some chapters, it oddly seemed to always be the perfect chapter to work through some stresses I had at the time. The self-reflection and humble admittance that we haven’t fully learned all the components to get the best out of our relationship even after being together for years was a great exercise. Through the program, we were able to gain knowledge of how to better work through issues as they come up and open the doors of communication better. I thank you greatly for this opportunity and found the course very valuable to prepare us for our future together. – Jeanne
After 20 years together, I felt we had talked about everything multiple times. But the CANA experience surprised me —in the best way. There was something deeply therapeutic about writing things down and discussing them in a structured, thoughtful way online. It helped me see each other with fresh eyes and appreciate how far we’ve come as a couple. We’re grateful for the space it created for real connection and gentle renewal. – Patrick
