Thank you for setting up this course as it was greatly helpful with our communication and open discussion about our preparation for marriage. I had initially thought my fiance and I already had good communication prior to this course, but this course helped me to be safer and more secure as we approach our wedding. Some of the topics tackled my concerns to which Claudio was able to assure me while we are having a planned discussion. I think everything was helpful for the both of us, especially the Issues and Resolving Conflicts. I also would say that I loved the “Prayer” aspect at the end of the discussion because I saw firsthand how the Lord granted some of those prayers over the span of the course and I was pretty amazed by the signal graces. Some of the prayers were answered in a painful way, but I believe those are necessary to grow in Christ.
I would definitely recommend this course to other engaged couples since I think it is worth the money. Other Pre-Cana seminars only last a day or two, but Claudio and I completed this in almost a month allowing us to digest the lessons more than having them rushed. Again, thank you for your help and I hope you keep praying for us as we become one in the Sacrament of Matrimony. Dear Deacon Frank, what I enjoyed most and found most helpful about this course were the meaningful verbal conversations I had with my fiancé about each question. While I didn’t fully answer all of the questions in writing, we made sure to discuss the questions verbally. I feel that the verbal exchange we had with each other about each question was the most fruitful aspect of this course.
If couples want to get the most out of this course focus on verbal and honest communication with each other about each question. Even if you might not get to answer all of the questions the way you want to answer it. I believe that the most important aspect of this course is to answer each of them openly with each other. This is what my fiance and I found most fruitful, and I hope that all other couples who will be taking this course in the future will also find that aspect of the course fruitful. – Claudio
