I found the course to be loving, comprehensive and meaningful. The conversation regarding parents/family was very difficult for me given my family dynamic, but it was a worthwhile discussion to have with myself and with my partner, Steven. These were good moments to pause and reflect. We truly discussed matters of the heart. Though we have had similar discussions before – Steven isn’t the type to be very open and expressive, so I was especially curious about his thoughts. His answers truly allowed me to understand him more and his faith and each other.
We always aim to understand our differences and different approaches to life with love. This was a good moment to recognize the love we have for each other, regardless of our different faiths. We are more similar than different and love truly connects us. The experience was very helpful and enjoyable. We were able to have a guided discussion on very important talking points that we will face in the future. I feel closer with my partner after discussing issues, finances, parents, and money. These are talking points that we do not generally discuss and I appreciate having this opportunity to tackle these points. We will use your guided conversations and teachings to make this a successful and happy marriage.
