Dear Rev Frank, thank you for giving my fiancée and me the opportunity to take this Pre-Cana coursework. The flexibility of the course made it possible for us to complete it, especially given our unique situation with different time zones, language, and culture.
Despite this, it brought us even closer together. It helped us address topics we used to tiptoe around. Communication techniques, conflict resolution, financial planning, and family dynamics really helped strengthen our bond and prepare us for a life together.
Personally, it helped me lower my defenses and become more vulnerable. I really appreciated how the topics acted as conversation starters, allowing us to share more openly. During this time, we encountered conflicts that we were able to resolve using the techniques we learned. I learned a lot about myself and am excited for us to continue growing together.
