I found that the Pre-Cana brought us closer together as a couple. We really enjoyed filling out all of the files and then reading our answers after. It made us see our similarities and differences in our relationship which is important for the future. It also made us communicate on a different level that we often don’t do and hopefully going forward we will start doing that more often. It was very important for both of us to talk about all of the topics mentioned. Setting clear expectations for the future is a must, especially in marriage. I am very glad we got to do this and I feel like it really strengthened our relationship. – Yelena
This experience has been really insightful for Yelena and myself. At first we didn’t know how go about doing our Pre-Cana because we live two hours apart so us being able to do this in our own time was very beneficial to us. It was helpful to us because we didn’t realize how many unknown things go into a marriage and the discussions that need to be had. We had a lot laughs and emotional moments going through each topic and listening to each other’s answers. We realized how compatible we are going into our marriage and that just made us feel so content. I would recommend this to any couple that does have to deal with long distance or just can’t find the time to be in person. I really enjoyed this process and learning even more about fiancé and what is to come in marriage. – Troy
