I really enjoyed having the opportunity to discuss each topic with my fiancé after working on them individually. I also enjoyed the video courses as they were easy to digest and understand. I think the pre-filled PDFs were helpful and easy to follow. The questions or statements made it easy to follow along and fill in the blank with my answers.
I changed after this course because I take more seriously having open conversations about certain topics and about all topics that should be discussed in a marriage. I understand the importance of being open and honest.
At the same time, I feel like this course prepared me for marriage because the conversations and discussions were deep and gave a good glimpse about all the things that may come up during our marriage. I enjoyed getting to sit down with my fiancé and discuss each topic as well as learning from Father Frank. Filling out each conversation individually first was helpful before sitting down with my fiancé for our conversation. I am more willing to be open with my fiancé and future wife about tough conversations and being more communicative about them.
I think this course really touched on all the areas that make up a marriage. I was able to re-discover my beliefs, weaknesses, strengths and love for my fiancé.
